PDAs for Music Education
Ways to Use PDAs in Your Music Classroom

In Music, secondary students can use MIDI applications like miniPiano to compose music, transcribe aural examples, or work on part-writing for theory.  Full orchestrations can be played back in full CD-quality audio or hot-synced with your favorite notation software to print out parts for your performers. In Music, beginning and advanced musicians can take advantage of powerful tools like M-Tools (Metronome, Tuner, Circle of Fifths) and McChords to develop ear-training skills, theory, and rhythmic integrity.  The portability and convenience of having all of their developmental tools readily at hand means your students are more likely to use all of resources available to them at the precise moment when they need the information.
